Local Sporting Champions

The Local Sporting Champions program is an Australian Government initiative designed to provide financial assistance for juniors towards the cost of travel, accommodation, uniforms or equipment when competing, coaching or officiating at an official national sporting organisation (NSO) endorsed state or national sporting competition or a School Sport Australia national championships.

New South Wales Grants

The Department of Sport and Recreation grant outlines the financial assistance and grants are available to sport and recreation organisations.

The Department of Trade and Investment has a selection of grants and funding from Business to Science and Research.

NSW Clubgrants

Clubgrants provide grants for three categories. Category one supports community welfare and social services; Category two provides funding for general community development and Category three is state wide fund that supports large-scale community infrastructure projects, such as hospitals and sporting facilities.

Port Hacking Open Sailing Club received funding for a new kitchen in the Stronger Community Grant Round in 2016
Kookaburra Kids received funding for a company car in the first round of Stronger Community Grants in 2016
